Puppy Classes
Classes are held at either South Darley Village Hall or Elton Pavilion and Jubilee Field, both near Matlock Derbyshire.
Check specific class dates for the venue.
Classes are fun and supportive but also full of information to give you the skills and knowledge to sail through puppy parenthood.
The focus is on building a strong bond between you and your puppy and on teaching your puppy the skills to have confidence and flourish in everyday life.
Classes will cover practical training basics such as sit, down, hand touch, play, give, polite greetings, recall, loose lead walking and more; and further topics such as how to prevent common puppy problems, safe and healthy puppy socialisation, how to prepare puppy for vet/groomer visits and plenty more!
The classes are suitable for puppies that are under 5 months old at the start of the course.
Class sizes are small for plenty of individual help where required.

Based in Middleton-by-Wirksworth, I cover the DE4 Matlock postcode and surrounding areas including Clay Cross, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Duffield, Belper and everywhere inbetween.
Training will take place at your home and/or in surrounding local areas where appropriate.

The aim of my training is to help you develop a strong relationship with your puppy. I’ll also help you to teach your puppy how to be calm, confident and resilient to what life may throw at them. We can cover topics such as toilet training, managing puppy biting, play and other enrichment, teaching basic cues such as “sit” or “down”, recall training, appropriate socialisation... and much more!
