I’m a professional dog trainer that takes a holistic approach to dog training and puts the welfare of dogs at the forefront of my training.
Based in the Derbyshire Dales
Based in Middleton-by-Wirksworth, I cover the DE4 Matlock postcode and surrounding areas including Clay Cross, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Duffield, Belper and everywhere inbetween.
Kind, Compassionate & Effective Training
I believe in building a strong relationship with our puppies and dogs by making them feel safe and understood, and also through plenty of positive interactions throughout their lives. This can be through play and training games, but also by learning how they communicate with us, how they learn and what their specific needs are. We can then be better informed to make every interaction with them a positive one, for both us and our dogs.
I train and teach using only kind, modern techniques, that are based on the science regarding how dogs learn & dog behaviour. These are primarily reward based techniques i.e. using food treats or toys to reward a dog when they carry out any behaviour that I like and want to see more of. It’s also about structured guidance and setting your dog up to succeed.
